Bananaconda was created during the third Uxbridge Sculpture Symposium, from recycled wood and other scavenged materials. The idea was to create a strange and wonderful object that would appear amongst the trees as you rounded a corner in the trails. The name came by chance and could not be shaken off.

The structure is designed to be flexible, and move with the trees, also airy, to shed water and most of the snow.
